Fresh off the back of the Spring Classics, La Vuelta Femenina returns for its third edition from May 4-10.

Starting in Barcelona, the route cuts across northern Spain, winding through the rugged Asturian mountains before the overall winner is crowned atop Cotobello.

Fans can look forward to a blend of terrain and strategy across this eagerly awaited race. This season has shown that Dutch superstar Demi Vollering is the rider to beat and is looking to stamp her authority at La Vuelta.

The race starts with a time trial on the busy roads of Barcelona. From there, the riders will grind their way through varied terrain, culminating in a brutal final climb to Cotobello in the Asturias. And for those who thrive in the mountains, the ascent to Lagunas de Neila offers another golden opportunity to make a difference.

Having evolved from its early days as the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta, the race has firmly planted its flag among the premier events on the Women's WorldTour calendar. It's a far cry from its humble 2015 beginnings as a one-day event, when American Shelley Olds claimed the maiden crown.

Here's how to watch all the action from the La Vuelta Femenina 2025 cycling.
