Browns’ Shedeur Sanders predicted for trade to 3 possible teams image

Everyone is already trying to figure out how the Browns' quarterback room will work.

Beyond the out-for-the-year Deshaun Watson, they have Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.

Something seemingly has to give.

That's where a fascinating prediction by Drew Bishop of The Sporting News comes in.

He predicts that Sanders will be traded, not necessarily before the season but as the trade deadline approaches.

Here's how Bishop explains it:

"Cleveland could keep the famous son of Deion Sanders, let him shine in preseason, and not put him on the field for meaningful snaps all season. The intrigue around Sanders would bring more publicity to the Browns and they could use him as a trade chip. If a team suffers an injury or gets desperate for quarterback help, the Browns' trove of signal callers could allow for a trade."

That all makes some sense.

Bishop goes on to predict three possible destinations.

The first: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"Imagine Shedeur heading to Tampa Bay, where the Bucs just signed his brother Shilo as an undrafted free agent," Bishop writes. "Kyle Trask is on a one-year deal backing up Baker Mayfield there."

The next option is the Jaguars.

"Sanders could also head to Jacksonville to team back up with Travis Hunter," Bishop writes. "Nick Mullens is the backup to Trevor Lawrence for the Jaguars."

Or, Shedeur could wind up in Pittsburgh.

"Of course, the Pittsburgh Steelers are still the first team that could use Sanders, but they passed on him multiple times in the draft," Bishop concludes.

If you thought Sanders' draft slide discussions were fun, just imagine what trade rumors could be like.
