Chiefs predicted to trade star WR to make room for rookie image

The Kansas City Chiefs are always making moves at wide receiver.

They clearly want Patrick Mahomes to be happy and have the best chance to be successful.

That's partly why they drafted speedy Jalen Royals in this year's NFL Draft. But the Royals pick means that another wideout could be expendable.

Pro Football Network's Sterling Xie writes that Hollywood Brown is the guy to move.

Here's what he says: "Hollywood Brown was our main pre-draft trade candidate for the Kansas City Chiefs. There’s no reason to move off that stance after the defending AFC champs picked Jalen Royals, a true X receiver who could displace Brown."

The Chiefs still have Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Travis Kelce, of course, also demands targets.

"If Royals flashes with his camp and preseason reps, Brown could easily be on the move," writes Xie.

The Chiefs could probably fetch a mid-round pick for Hollywood.

Brown is still just 37 years old. He has 322 catches in his NFL career with 28 touchdowns.

And soon, he might be on yet another team.
