Grant DuBose injury update

Monday, the Dolphins provided an encouraging update on DuBose's health. He was evaluated overnight at a Houston-area hospital and "initial tests have revealed positive results."

The team added that DuBose will remain there for further observation.

DuBose went down after absorbing a crunching blow to the helmet from Bullock with 9:35 left in the third quarter.

DuBose looked to have immediately gone into the fencing response after the hit. The game was stopped 12 minutes as Miami personnel tended to DuBose’s injury.

According to ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques, DuBose’s facemask and jersey had to be physically removed as a result of the ordeal. He was placed in an oxygen mask before being escorted off the field via stretcher.

Miami quickly ruled DuBose out with a head injury. His timeline for recovery is unclear at the moment. But the team has gotten positive updates on his progress.

According to The Athletic, DuBose is in stable condition.

Bullock was handed a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness as a result of his tackle.

DuBose, 23, was the Packers’ 7th-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. He has one catch for 13 yards with the Dolphins this season.
