Georgia players drafted in 2025 NFL Draft
Here is a look at the Georgia players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft:
- Mykel Williams, DE, San Francisco 49ers (No. 11)
Williams was projected to go lower in the first round, but he adds depth to a solid 49ers' defensive line with new coordinator Robert Saleh. Williams had five sacks last season.
- Jalon Walker, EDGE, Atlanta Falcons (No. 15)
Walker is a high-upside pick who fills a pass-rushing need for the Falcons. He had 6.5 sacks last season and can line up in different spots across the defensive line. The three-sack performance against Texas in the regular season is a reminder of his ability to take over games.
- Malaki Starks, S, Baltimore Ravens (No. 27)
Starks led the Bulldogs with 77 tackles last season. He fits in Baltimore's scheme well and should have a chance to play right away.
- Tate Ratledge, G, Detroit Lions (No. 57)
Ratledge is a 6-6, 308-pound guard who might have been a first round if not missing four games because of injuries last season. He's a solid Day 2 pick for the Detroit interior offensive line.
- Dylan Fairchild, G, Cincinnati Bengals (No. 81)
Fairchild was a projected sixth-round pick. He will join college teammate Amarius Mims as offensive line help for Joe Burrow in Cincinnati.
- Jared Wilson, C, New England Patriots (No. 95)
Wilson is another solid mid-round pick for first-year coach Mike Vrabel. He will have a chance to develop behind Garrett Bradbury.
- Arian Smith, WR, New York Jets (No. 110)
Smith is a speedster who will give the Jets a vertical threat playing off of Garrett Wilson. Smith averaged 19.9 yards per catch in a five-year career. There is some sleeper appeal here if he can break through with those preseason opportunities.
- Trevor Etienne, RB, Carolina Panthers (No. 114)
Etienne is a talented, versatile runner who will join a crowded backfield. It will take some time, but he could work his way into a consistent role after starting as a third-down back.
- Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, EDGE, Minnesota Vikings (No. 139)
Dawkins gives the Vikings some edge-rushing depth. He is more of a developmental player with upside. He had three sacks last season.
- Smael Mondon, Jr. LB, Philadelphia Eagles (No. 161)
Is it really a draft unless the Eagles take a Georgia defensive player? Mondon is a tough inside linebacker who fills a depth add against the run. He had 57 tackles and three sacks. Mondon fits the Eagles' scheme well.
- Warren Brinson, DT, Green Bay Packers (No. 198)
Brinson was projected to be a free-agent add, but the Packers have a history of grabbing Georgia defensive players. Brinson averaged 23 tackles and two sacks the last two seasons.
- Dan Jackson, S, Detroit Lions (No. 230)
Jackson is a Detroit-style pick. He had 64 tackles and two interceptions for Georgia last season. He could emerge as a fan favorite in time.
- Dominic Lovett, WR, Detroit Lions (No. 244)
Lovett was not projected to be drafted. He will compete for a roster spot with a deep Detroit receiver room. He ran a 4.40 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Which school has the record for most picks in a single NFL Draft?
Georgia had 15 players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, and that included five first-round picks led by No. 1 pick Travon Walker. Ohio State (2004) and LSU (2020) each had 14 players selected, and Michigan (2024) had 13 players taken in last year's draft after winning the national championship.
