While this summer's free agent class is quite underwhelming, there are expected to be several superstars available via trade. The list of big names on the market could feature two of the biggest stars this century - Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The former is expected to work with the Phoenix Suns to find a new home, while many have predicted that the latter could request a trade from the Milwaukee Bucks. Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report recently shared that he expects the San Antonio Spurs to pursue both stars, stating:

"I see some people in the chat talking about the (San Antonio) Spurs. San Antonio is definitely going to be, without a doubt, a team that is looking to continue to upgrade and add talent around Victor Wembanyama. We're already seeing the process happen," Fischer stated Monday. "We're seeing Chris Paul sign there. We're seeing them make a move and go out and get the guard that they were looking for. They were looking to pair Victor Wembanyama with an All-Star level guard... People around the league are already starting to whisper about San Antonio potentially being a spot to bring former Texas Longhorn Kevin Durant this summer. You best believe they would call about Giannis Antetokounmpo, as well."

Durant is set to turn 37 years old in September and failed to reach the postseason for the first time in a season where he played at least 60 games since 2008-09 - his second year in the league. He had a strong season from an individual standpoint, however, as he averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 52.7% from the field, 43.0% from three-point range and 83.9% from the free-throw line.

Meanwhile, Antetokounmpo is just 30 years old and coming off another strong season. He averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.2 blocks per game while shooting 60.1% from the field. His Bucks, however, on the verge of being eliminated in the first round of the postseason for the third consecutive season.

It is unclear what the Spurs would offer in a potential package for either superstar. One has to think they would be willing to put together a much stronger package for the latter due to his age. A trio of Wembanyama, De'Aaron Fox and either Durant or Antetokounmpo would make San Antonio an instant title contender.
