Robles sustained his injury in the bottom of the ninth inning of Sunday's game. While attempting to reel in Patrick Bailey's looping fly ball near foul territory in left field, Robles crashed into the mesh wall. Although he retained possession of the unruly batted ball, he immediately fell to the canvas, barely able to flick the ball toward the cut-off man.
Luis Matos advanced from first to second on the play. After medical personnel briefly raced onto the outfield grass, Robles was escorted to the locker room via cart.

Wilmer Flores proceeded to drive in the game-winning run on the very next at-bat.
Despite the malady, Robles' catch proved one of the best grabs in recent Oracle Park history. Robles raced 113 feet to collect the rowdy effort.
On Tuesday, Seattle revealed that Robles suffered a fracture in his left shoulder on the play, which will sideline him for at least 12 weeks. However, if he needs surgery, then Robles will be out for the season.
Robles is hitting .256 with three RBIs this year, his 10th in MLB.
