We have two epic battles going on in the world of kicking. The first is between Jake Elliott and himself. Elliott has been a reliable kicker throughout his career but has struggled from distance this season. Coming into Week 16, he was 0-5 on field goals of at least 50 yards. He went 0-6 last week, missing a 56-yard attempt to close out the first half. Thankfully, he was able to nail a 50-yarder in the fourth quarter to bring him to 1-7 on the year.
We also have quite a battle going on between Brandon Aubrey and Ka'imi Fairbairn. They are both racing to set the single-season record for 50-plus-yard field goals made. With three such field goals last week, Aubrey pulled ahead with 14 total makes from 50-plus. With two weeks to play, Fairbairn is narrowly behind with 13.
Ideally, your fantasy kicker is drilling 50-yarders with ease. Finding a blend of kicking talent and a strong offensive environment is how you find a kicker who will be an asset to your fantasy roster.

Who are the best fantasy kickers for Week 17?
The aforementioned Brandon Aubrey is consistently at the top of our kicker rankings. When a coach is comfortable sending out their kicker anywhere inside of 65 yards, they're going to be a force to be reckoned with in fantasy. Against a strong Philadelphia defense, the Cowboys could be relying on Aubrey quite heavily this week.
Chris Boswell hasn't nailed as many 50-yarders as Aubrey, but he's putting on a show of his own. He's the K1 on the year and is a regular threat to score 15-plus fantasy points. He's a locked-in starter every week.
Ka'imi Fairbairn, Aubrey's competition for the 50-yard record, is another difference-maker in the kicker slot. The Texans will face a questionable Baltimore defense this week and Fairbairn should line up for a few kicks.
Who are the best fantasy kicker sleepers for Week 17?
Will Reichard is among the more underappreciated kickers in the NFL. Aside from some struggles when he was dealing with a quad injury, Reichard has gone 18-20 on the year. With two talented offenses in Green Bay vs. Minnesota, we could see the Vikings in scoring position quite often. Expect Reichard to attempt a handful of kicks in this one.
Cade York has been filling in for the Bengals with Evan McPherson sidelined and has done quite well, going 4-5 in three games. The Cincinnati offense is among the best in the league and should provide York with plenty of kicking opportunities. His only issue will be the Bengals scoring touchdowns instead of settling for field goals, but that's a risk fantasy managers should be willing to take.
