Having passed floundering Manchester City in the Premier League table, Arsenal have their sights set on pulling themselves back into the title race as they face Manchester United.

The Gunners have seemingly put their early-season struggles behind them with three straight victories, all in dominant fashion, as they downed Nottingham Forest, Sporting CP, and West Ham by a combined 13-3 in the past two weeks.

Thanks to what appears to be a positive correction, Mikel Arteta's team sit second in the standings, but are still nine points adrift of leaders Liverpool, who continue to look unstoppable.

It will take three points against a new-look Man United to keep them from falling further behind, which could be difficult as the Red Devils appear to be on the rise under Ruben Amorim. United thrashed Everton 4-0 at the weekend as Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee bagged braces.

Arsenal vs. Man United lineups, starting 11, team news

Arteta confirmed after the win over West Ham that Bukayo Saka was "fine, no problems" and the England international keeps his place.

However, there are issues in defence with Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel both missing through injury, with Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko drafted in.

Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are both out for a few weeks due to knee injuries but Gabriel Martinelli is back in the team.

Arsenal lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Raya (GK) — Timber, Saliba, Kiwior, Zinchenko — Odegaard, Rice, Partey — Saka, Havertz, Martinelli

Injured: Calafiori, Gabriel, White, Tomiyasu.
Suspended: None.

United are without both Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo who are serving suspensions for yellow-card accumulation, after picking up five bookings just 13 matches into the season.

Otherwise, the Red Devils are nearly at full strength. The only players out injured are Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof who are dealing with minor issues.

Summer signing Leny Yoro is named on the bench and could make his club debut after an injury disrupted start at Old Trafford.

Tyrell Malacia is in the starting line up, but there is no sign of Luke Shaw, with the injury-prone full-back reportedly suffering yet another setback.

Man United lineup (3-4-3, right to left): Onana (GK) — Mazraoui, De Ligt, Maguire — Dalot, Mount Ugarte, Malacia — Garnacho, Hojlund, Fernandes.

Injured: Evans, Lindelof, Shaw.
Suspended: L. Martinez, Mainoo
