Shohei Ohtani has a new competitor for the title of most talented athlete in baseball.
This competition has four legs and a waggy tail.
It's Ruin The Bat Dog. He's currently hanging out and being a good boy down in Triple-A with the Las Vegas Aviators, the affiliate of MLB's Athletics.
We're here to tell the baseball world that Ruin needs a promotion immediately.
This beautiful creature has some of the best talent we've ever seen. In his first year taking over for the retired Finn The Bat Dog, Ruin is raising the job to its highest heights.

Find me another dog that can do that.
While we're at it, let's ask Rob Manfred why bat dogs aren't at the MLB level?
They're a great promotional tool in the minor leagues, yes. But you're telling me that adding a fantastic pup to the same field that Ohtani or Aaron Judge play on would be a bad thing?
Let's promote Ruin and make him MLB's first bat dog, but then let's bring a bunch of his loyal, tail-wagging buddies along with him.
