Gold Coast midfielder Noah Anderson has given the Suns a major boost after signing a four-year contract extension that will tie him to the club until at least the end of the 2027 season.
“It’s really exciting,” the 21-year-old said after inking his deal. “Gold Coast has felt like home since I was drafted, and the playing group continues to drive me forward as a player and a person.”
Anderson, who was the second pick in the 2019 Draft, enjoyed the best campaign of his career to date, polling 14 Brownlow Medal votes while also being elevated into the club’s leadership group.

“I feel at home, and this is the best place for me to play footy,” he said.
“We have great role models at the club and I’m still learning from them, and then trying to part that knowledge on to the younger boys coming through.”
General Manager of Player Talent and Strategy, Craig Cameron, lauded the re-signing of Anderson as he joined a host of other young talent who had also recently recommitted to the Suns.
“We are thrilled to have Noah commit to the club for four more years,” Cameron said.
“He joins a number of players to have committed their long-term future to the club as we look to contend and achieve success at the Gold Coast.”
Since making his debut in the opening round of the 2020 season, Anderson has remained an ever-present in the side’s midfield. In fact, he has missed just three matches on his way to making 58 appearances for the Suns.
“I feel like I can have an impact on the team on and off the field and I’m excited for what the next few years has to bring,” Anderson said.
“We want to play finals, that’s a big goal for us this year and the years ahead. Premierships are what we want and to make the community proud of us.”
