Kai Asakura is set to make his highly anticipated UFC debut against Alexandre Pantonja. He will be competing for the men's flyweight title at UFC 310 on Dec. 7 (Dec. 8 in Australia) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Asakura is a former multi-time RIZIN bantamweight champion and holds a 21-4 professional record. Ahead of the fight, Asakura seems to be extremely confident.

While many have questioned his abilities, the flyweight contender believes he holds a big advantage in regard to power and hopes to secure the title in his promotional debut. Moreover, he believes Pantoja doesn’t possess anything special to trouble him inside the octagon.

During an interview with UFC.com, Asakura suggested that he is seemingly expecting a relatively comfortable night at the office. He said:

“Pantoja is great at everything, but he’s not special at anything; he doesn’t have a unique skill in one area that makes him better than anyone else. What makes him better than anyone else is his heart — he’s got great heart, and that’s what makes him a great champion. But I don’t see him representing any problems for me anywhere. He’s someone I don’t think I’ll have any problem dealing with.”
