There's no one in the NBA hooping like De'Aaron Fox right now as the Sacramento Kings guard comes off an electric two-game scoring stretch.

In back-to-back games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Utah Jazz, Fox has scored a combined 109 points, re-writing the record books along the way.

Let's take a closer look at the insane numbers Fox has put up over the weekend

109

In the space of 24 hours, Fox's combined 109 points put his name alongside some legendary company.

After scoring a career-high 60 points against the Timberwolves, he followed it up with a 49-point outburst against the Jazz.

That's the most points scored in a two-game span in Kings franchise history, becoming just the second Kings player ever alongside DeMarcus Cousins (104 points in 2016) to crack 100 in a two-game span.

"Nobody can stop him from getting to his spots when he wants to," Kings head coach Mike Brown said post-game. "He's feeling that. Not only is he feeling that, but he's showing that."

Fox also fell just one point shy of tying Kobe Bryant's record (110 points in 2007) for the most points scored in back-to-back nights in the past 50 years, per NBA Stats

The 26-year-old missed four of his eight free throws in the fourth quarter against the Jazz, leaving Byrant's record intact — which he acknowledged on X postgame.

Falling just shy of a 50-piece, Fox would have been the first player since Damian Lillard (2020) to record back-to-back 50-point games.

Besides Fox and Bryant, the last player to score at least 109 points in back-to-back nights was Wilt Chamberlain, who did so a ridiculous 15 times.

60

Fox single-handedly tried to will the Kings to victory against the Timberwolves in their 130-126 overtime loss, setting a new career benchmark in the loss.

Fox's 60 points is a career-high, eclipsing his previous career-best 44 points against the Los Angeles Lakers last season — also sitting as the highest-scoring individual game in the NBA this season.

His 60 points passed DeMarcus Cousins' previous record for the Kings since they moved to Sacramento of 56 points in 2015-16. Jack Twyman held the record for the Cincinnati Royals of 59 points in 1959-60.

44

After winning Clutch Player of the Year in 2022-23 and finishing fifth in the league in total clutch points last season, Fox continues to stamp himself as one of the league's best late-game closers.

Through 14 games this season, Fox leads the NBA in clutch scoring (points in a game within five points with less than five minutes remaining), per NBA Stats.
