The UFC returns to New Jersey for UFC 302, headlined by the lightweight title bout between Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier.

It is Makhachev’s first time defending the belt against someone in his division, as his last two contests have been wins against former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski.

“The Diamond” is 2-2 in his last four fights, and the former interim UFC lightweight champion hopes the third time is the charm when it comes to competing for gold.
