Liverpool are preparing for a crucial Premier League showdown against Manchester City, but injuries are clouding their plans.
Head coach Arne Slot confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold is fit and ready to start, providing much-needed relief after recent setbacks in the squad.
Alexander-Arnold, who missed three games with a hamstring injury, returned to the bench in Liverpool's midweek 2-0 Champions League win over Real Madrid.
With Conor Bradley picking up a hamstring issue in that match and Ibrahima Konaté also limping off, Alexander-Arnold’s return is perfectly timed.

Injury concerns for Bradley and Konate
Slot provided updates on Bradley and Konaté, though their availability remains uncertain. “They’re still being assessed,” he said.
“It’s never a good sign when players can’t walk off properly. We’ll have to wait and see where they are for the weekend.”

With injuries mounting, Alexander-Arnold’s presence in the lineup becomes vital. Joe Gomez is also an option for the right-back spot if needed.
Slot hinted at possible changes, with Cody Gakpo and Dominik Szoboszlai expected to feature.
As Liverpool heads into a decisive match, Alexander-Arnold’s return offers hope amid uncertainty.
