The Dolphins will begin their third season in the NRL next year amidst a host of major changes which is sure to shake the foundations of the club.
Wayne Bennett is no longer in charge after guiding the newest franchise from their inception through until the end of the 2024 campaign.
However, the legendary figure has vacated his position with Kristian Woolf to try and step into his sizeable shoes.
The rookie NRL head coach will have to make an integral decision during the early stages of his reign with the club currently without a captain.

Corey Parker calls for Tom Gilbert to become new Dolphins captain
Jesse Bromwich entered into retirement at the end of last season after an extensive career.
The former Melbourne Storm and New Zealand international wrote his name into the history books after being named as the Dolphins’ inaugural captain.
The prop worked alongside Bennett from the beginning and will no doubt leave a gaping hole in the playing group following his departure.
Corey Parker has since cast his eye over the developing situation at Redcliffe and called for Woolf to install a somewhat forgotten man as the new skipper.
Tom Gilbert hasn’t played for the Dolphins since midway through the club’s maiden campaign back in 2023, as injuries have plagued him.
The State of Origin representative suffered a season-ending shoulder injury while featuring for Queensland, before failing to play a minute of the 2024 season due to an ACL rupture in the trials.

Yet his extended time on the sidelines doesn't worry Parker, who has called for Gilbert to take over as skipper.
"He is an extremely great leader," Parker said on SEN of the 24-year-old.
"I had the pleasure of coaching him in the Queensland U18s a number of years ago.
"He has some great leadership qualities, aside from his playing ability, and he just doesn't know any other way but to compete hard.
"They're yet to decide on a captain for that club but I think Tom Gilbert fits the mould."
