Former Geelong and Port Adelaide player Quinton Narkle has joined a third AFL club, signing with Fremantle.

Returning to his home state, Narkle joins the Dockers on the first day of Supplemental Selection Period (SSP).

The 26-year-old has played 57 senior games, 41 with the Cats and 16 with Port Adelaide.

Narkle was delisted by the Power at the end of the 2024 season despite playing 13 AFL games.

The mid/forward will link up with good friend Shai Bolton, who also joined Fremantle this off-season in a trade with Richmond.

Freo narrowly missed the finals in 2024, falling short by half a game after sitting as high as third in round 20.
