Sacked AFL star Tarryn Thomas has revealed he wants to resurrect his AFL career in the future.
The 24-year-old's defence lawyer spoke of the former North Melbourne's player desire to return to the top echelon of Australian Rules during a court appearance.
Thomas, also known as Tarryn Trindall, pleaded guilty to breaching a court order at Broadmeadows Magistrate Court on Thursday.
He was accused of making 34 calls to a former partner, who had a court order against him, from April 5-29 earlier this year.

Thomas' AFL career at the Kangaroos ended in February this year after he was suspended by the AFL for 18 matches after being found guilty of inappropriate behaviour toward women.
But the midfielder's lawyer Sally Vardy stated Thomas' goal of returning to the AFL one day amid other statements to the court.
“It’s Mr Trindall’s desire to return to professional football in the future … it’s ultimately a matter for the powers that be,” Vardy said.
Vardy also spoke of Thomas' efforts to rehabilitate since being dumped from the Kangaroos.
“He has thrown himself head first into the treatment that was required,” she said.
“This is a man that has accepted and acknowledged he has an issue … he’s done everything possible and continues to do everything possible to ensure his mental health remains on track.”
Geelong and St Kilda initially showed interest in Thomas' services after his dismissal earlier this year, but both clubs subsequently released statements denying wanting to recruit the player.
