The best Australian Rules football talent from around the nation will find out if their dreams come true with selection in the AFL National Draft.

Three drafts will be held over the space of three days - National Draft, Rookie Draft and Pre-Season Draft.

What time does the AFL National Draft 2024 start?

The 2024 AFL National Draft will commence on Wednesday, November 20 from 7:00pm (AEDT).

The draft will be held over three stages, with the first round coming on day one. Subsequent National Draft rounds will take place on Thursday, November 21 from 7:00pm (AEDT).

The AFL Rookie and Pre-Season Draft will be held on day three (Friday, November 22 from 12pm (AEDT)), where clubs can select delisted AFL players and mature-age recruits on rookie contracts.

Fox Footy and Kayo will broadcast the AFL National Draft first round (Wed, Nov 20) and subsequent rounds (Thu, Nov 21) live from 7:00pm (AEDT).

AFL.com.au will stream both nights of the AFL National Draft live from 6:45pm (AEDT).

Where is the AFL National Draft 2024 held? 

The first two nights of the 2024 AFL National Draft will be held at Marvel Stadium but with a difference.

Night one will feature both players and clubs at Marvel as we find out the first round, while night two will only host clubs at the venue, with players being shown on live feeds from where they are watching the event.

The AFL Rookie Draft and Pre-Season Draft will be held electronically.
