Captain of Team India, Rohit Sharma is set to miss the first match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25 in Perth. He is, however, set to join the squad ahead of the second Test in Adelaide.

Since playing his first series against Australia in 2014/15 in the middle order, Sharma has gone up and down the batting order before becoming a permanent feature as an opener.

He has played against the Aussies in three away tours of 2014/15, 2018/19 and 2020/21 and one home series in 2023. He also opened the batting for India in the 2023 World Test Championship final at The Oval.

Let us see how Rohit Sharma has performed against Australia.
