The Jimmy Butler era has come to an end in Miami.
The Heat have agreed to trade Butler to the Warriors for Andrew Wiggins, Dennis Schroder, Kyle Anderson and a protected first round pick, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

Butler was traded from the 76ers to the Heat in 2019. He led Miami to two NBA Finals appearances in his six seasons and leaves as the franchise's all-time leader in triple-doubles.

- P.J. Tucker (via Utah)
- 2025 first-round pick (via Golden State)
- If the pick, protected for selections 1-10, is not conveyed in 2025, the Heat will receive Golden State's 2026 first-round selection (with the same protections attached).
- If the pick hasn't conveyed by the 2026 draft, the Heat will receive Golden State's unprotected 2027 first round pick.

Jimmy Butler contract details
Butler agreed to a two-year, $111 million extension with the Warriors after his trade went through, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. The 35-year old waived his player option to ink the new deal, which will see him earn roughly $55.5 million a year over the next two seasons.
