What would Thanksgiving be without football?
And family, food and tradition, of course.
In between turkey trotting, spending time with loved ones and filling your plate, there'll be several games waiting for you to watch. Three NFL matchups are set to play out Thursday, each slated with its own special guest performance at halftime.
In the early time slot is Lions-Bears, followed by Cowboys-Giants, and then Packers-Dolphins to round out the night.

Lions halftime performer on Thanksgiving
Rising country star Shaboozey will perform at halftime during the Lions' Thanksgiving game against the Bears, the team announced on Nov. 10.

This year marks Detroit's 85th annual Thanksgiving Day Classic. The Lions and Bears will kickoff in Ford Field at 12:30 p.m. ET.
Who is Shaboozey?
Shaboozey is a six-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter who began his rise to stardom this year with two features on Beyoncé's genre-bending "Cowboy Carter" album. He then released his breakthrough record "Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going" in May, which included the smash hit single, "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."
The recording artist has since been nominated for a litany of awards, including Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Best Country Song at the 2025 Grammys.

Cowboys halftime performer on Thanksgiving
ACM Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson will perform at AT&T Stadium during halftime of the Cowboys' Thanksgiving game against the Giants.
"It's an honor to follow in the footsteps of legendary performers like my friend Dolly Parton, The Jonas Brothers, and Reba, of course," Wilson said.

As has been the case since 1997, the Cowboys' Thanksgiving halftime show will be part of The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign for the holidays. Cowboys-Giants will start at 4:30 p.m. ET.
Who is Lainey Wilson?
Lainey Wilson is a Grammy award-winning and multi-platinum country recording artist. The 32-year-old has released five studio albums and is currently promoting her latest, called "Whirlwind." Some of her most popular songs include "Things a Man Oughta Know," "Heart Like a Truck" and "Watermelon Moonshine."
It's rumored that a surprise special guest will be joining Wilson onstage for her Thanksgiving halftime performance.

Packers halftime performer on Thanksgiving
Violinist Lindsey Stirling will perform at halftime during the Thanksgiving game between the Packers and Dolphins.

The Packers don't traditionally host an annual Thanksgiving game, but they have often found themselves playing on Turkey Day when against NFC opponents Detroit and Dallas. This year, the Packers and Dolphins will play at 8:20 p.m. ET.
Who is Lindsey Stirling?
Lindsey Stirling is a viral premier electronic violinist, dancer and aerialist. She is currently on her North American Snow Waltz Tour 2024, at which she's been performing her 2022 chart-topping album, "Snow Waltz."
Stirling is known for seamlessly blending musical genres on the electronic violin all while performing illustrious and intricate dance routines for her audience. She has amassed over 14 million subscribers on YouTube, as well as 4 million on TikTok.
