Ohio State has a chance to make history at the 2025 NFL Draft.
The Buckeyes won the first 12-team College Football Playoff championship under Ryan Day in 2024. Ohio State finished 14-2, and now the Buckeyes will likely have their largest draft class in school history. A total of 15 Ohio State players were invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine – the most players from one FBS school this year.
The Buckeyes only have one projected first-round pick – receiver Emeka Egbuka is poised to be the next first-round receiver from the program. Yet Day 2 and Day 3 will be filled with Ohio State players, including quarterback Will Howard and edge rusher Jack Sawyer, among others.

Which school has the record for most picks in a single NFL Draft?
Georgia had 15 players selected in the 2022 NFL Draft, and that included five first-round picks led by No. 1 pick Travon Walker. Ohio State (2004) and LSU (2020) each had 14 players selected, and Michigan (2024) had 13 players taken in last year's draft after winning the national championship.
When is Jeremiah Smith eligible for the NFL Draft?
Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith had 76 catches for 1,315 yards and 15 TDs as a freshman with the Buckeyes – which had several NFL Draft analysts wondering whether he would be the No. 1 pick in this draft.
