India's warm-up match update: Day 1 called off in Canberra
The India vs PM XI warm-up match on Day 1 has been called off due to persistent rain. As a result, the action will resume on Day 2 with a 50-over per side game, designed to provide the Indian team with crucial batting and bowling practice.
The three-day match was supposed to be starting on the afternoon of Saturday, November 30 where a young and upcoming batch of Aussie players were going to take on the Indians.
It had been raining heavily in Canberra since the morning of the warm-up match which has affected the preparations in the Indian camp.
With this warm-up game, the fans and media could have also got an idea about India's batting order plans moving ahead in the series after Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill set to return back to the XI following solid performances from KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal.

India, as told by Abhishek Nayar on Friday also trained with pink ball in the nets despite constant drizzles.
The pink ball Test in Adelaide which begins on December 6 is also going to be India's first day-night Test away from home since the catastrophic 36 all out in 2020.
The touring side showed up big time in the series opener and are currently leading the five-match Test series 1-0 after massive performances from captain Jasprit Bumrah and co.
