It's always a party when Paddy Pimblett fights, from his zingers during press conferences to his entrance music to pump people up. "The Baddy" is ready to start things going again.
Following a productive 2022, where he went 3-0, the former Cage Warriors featherweight champion only fought once in 2023 after suffering an injury. After submitting King Green in July, Pimblett is fixing for another fight.
Could the Liverpool-born fighter, ranked 15th in the UFC's lightweight rankings, return to the octagon before 2024 comes to a close?
Depending on timing, Pimblett could face Renato Moicano. The two have discussed fighting one another many times. However, Moicano, ranked eleventh, will fight Benoit Saint-Denis (ranked twelfth) at UFC Paris on September 28. If he wins and comes out unscathed, the latter being highly unlikely given Saint-Denis' striking ability, a fight against Pimblett in December may be on the table.

"I think the only card that I could possibly fight on is December again in Vegas, but nothing's been said at the minute," Pimblett said to Cage Warriors via MMA Junkie. "I know Moicano's fighting (this) week, can't see him coming back soon enough for December, so could end up being next year, early next year."
Dan Hooker was also a name thrown around. "The Hangman" is on a three-fight win streak and has been linked to potentially face Conor McGregor. Moicano has claimed facing Pimblett would be a more challenging fight than Hooker.
UFC CEO Dana White has not offered any updates on Pimblett at the moment. While out of action, Pimblett has kept busy, recently setting a new chicken wining eating record in Liverpool.
