Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing Hammarby’s 18-year-old winger, Bazoumana Toure, ahead of the January transfer window.

The young Ivorian has been turning heads with his impressive performances in Sweden’s Allsvenskan league, where he has tallied nine goals and four assists in just 23 matches this season.

Despite their strong attacking records, both North London clubs seem eager to invest in the future.

For Spurs, the decision comes after their dominant 4-0 win over Manchester City. Arsenal, meanwhile, may need reinforcements to close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool.

Toure joined Hammarby in March for just £370,000 from ASEC Mimosas, but his value has skyrocketed. Reports suggest a bid of £5 million could be enough to secure his services.

However, Hammarby is in no rush to sell, with Toure under contract until 2028.

List of clubs linked to Bazoumana Toure

The race for Toure isn’t limited to England.

Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, and Wolfsburg are reportedly keeping tabs on the youngster.

Germany’s top clubs may offer Toure a quicker path to regular first-team football, a tempting prospect for a player still early in his career.

Hammarby officials seem resigned to losing their rising star eventually.

One spokesperson admitted: “We need to plan for a future without him.

"If it happens this winter, next summer, or later – we’ll see. But the longer we keep him, the better.”

Whether Arsenal, Spurs, a Bundesliga side or someone else makes the first move, Toure’s next step could shape his path to becoming one of football’s top talents.
