Wests Tigers are keen to lock up the services of talented playmaker Lachlan Galvin with rival NRL clubs likely to start circling.

Despite the 19-year-old being contracted until the end of the 2026 season, the Tigers want to tie him down to a long-term contract at Concord.

Galvin's current contract can see the youngster start talking with clubs about a move from November 1 next year.

“We’re working closely with Galvin, his family and his agent about extending him in the new year,” Tigers CEO Shane Richardson said on Behind The Roar

2025 PREDICTED TEAM LISTS : Broncos | Raiders | Bulldogs | Dolphins | Sharks | Titans | Sea Eagles | Storm | Knights | Cowboys | Eels | Panthers | Rabbitohs | Dragons | Roosters | Warriors | Tigers

Galvin was thrust on to the NRL scene in 2024, scoring four tries in 21 games across his debut senior season.

He is likely to attract salary offers of $800,000 a season on the open market if he remains unsigned.

There has been reports previously that Galvin was seeking a release from the club, but they were denied by coach Benji Marshall.
