NBA expert claims Caitlin Clark bigger than NBA stars
Not a day went by during the WNBA season where Clark's name left the headlines, as she broke records on and off the court with ease.
Her star power has now grown so enormous that The Ringer's Bill Simmons has claimed she is now more famous than any NBA player under 30.
"Her stardom has changed many discussions about sport, especially women's sport," Simmons said on his podcast.
"I literally did not care about women's college basketball 10 years ago in any way, shape, or form.
"So I think some things have moved toward just the quality of play is more fun to watch, but she seems to be some sort of catalyst that is just, it's like before and after, and now we're in the after."
Clark has been transcendent for women's basketball, following up a historic college career at Iowa with one of the most impressive rookie season's in WNBA history.
She won Rookie of the Year, was made an All-Star and named to the All-WNBA First Team, and lead the league in assists.
