The 2024 edition of the Davis Cup finals takes place in November in Malaga, Spain, with the country's own Rafael Nadal drawing his legendary career to a close at the conclusion of the tournament.
In addition to Nadal's swansong, there is also a nice chunk of prize money available throughout the event.
As per the Official Davis Cup website, here's a rundown of who can pocket what.
Davis Cup 2024 prize money per team
The winning team will collect a sum of $2,678,571, which is approx. £2,122,817.
The runners-up will earn $1,607,143, approximately £1,682,372.
The two losing semi-finalist nations will pocket $1,071,429 (£849,127 approx.) while the four teams who drop out in the quarter-finals receive $535,714 (£424,563 approx.).
These figures are split between each member of that country's squad.
How many players are in a Davis Cup squad?
Each country typically selects five players for their squad, though some can opt to take just four. In 2024, only the Netherlands selected four players instead of five.
This means the above prize figures are divided by either four or five to get the per-player prize amount, depending on the team.
Prize money from Davis Cup group stages
Group winners receive a squad prize of $460,714 (approx. £365,124), the group runners-up take home $412,500 (approx. £326,914), while third place earns $375,000 (approx. £297,194) and fourth place lands $358,929 (approx. £284,458).
