Gout Gout has done it again.
The 16-year-old sprinting sensation has blitzed the field in his heat at the Australian All Schools Championships, posting a mind-blowing time of 20.04 to claim a new Australian record in the 200m.
This effort breaks a record that's stood for 56 years of 20.06 set by Peter Norman at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics.
It also sees him run the second-fastest 200m by an under-18s competitor of all time... at just 16.

"These are adult times and me, just a kid - I’m running them. It’s going to be a great future for sure," Gout said.
"I didn’t expect it to be that fast, but I guess I ran Australia’s fastest ever time in the 200. I have been chasing that record but I didn’t think it would come this year. I thought maybe next year or the year after that."
The run saw him clock the second fastest time in history for athletes under 18 years of age, overtaking Usain Bolt’s 20.13. American Erriyon Knighton’s holds the record time of 19.84.
Meanwhile, the historic performance from Gout came just one day after he posted a mind-blowing 10.04 in the 100m, setting the athletics world alight.
He was however running with the assistance of +3.4m/s tail wind in the 100, meaning the time can't be registered as a record due to the presence of a wind greater than +2m/s.
Regardless, the performance is again sure to get the athletics world talking.
After being level with second place-getter Jackson Moule at the 50m, Gout found top gear and streaked away to win by more than half a second.
Take a look at the race below:
By the time the final came around, the wind had died down and Gout ran a legal time of 10.17, with a +0.9m/s tail wind.
That was the fifth fastest U18 time in history and easily the best by an Australian, beating the old mark of 10.27.
Gout Gout's previous legal personal best in the 100m was 10.29, while he also boasts a blistering 20.29 PB in the 200m.
