After weeks of build-up, AFL Draft 2024 is complete.

It all began with the first round on Wednesday evening when Sam Lalor was selected by Richmond with the No.1 pick.

AFL National Draft 2024 schedule, dates

The 2024 AFL National Draft commenced at 7:00 pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, November 20 at Marvel Stadium.

The draft is being held over three nights, with the first round coming on day one. Subsequent National Draft rounds took place on Thursday, November 21.

The AFL Rookie and Pre-Season draft will be held on day three (Friday, November 22), where clubs can select delisted AFL players and mature-age recruits on rookie contracts.
