Formula 1 returned to Ferrari heartland for the fourteenth round of the 2018 season - the Italian Grand Prix .
The iconic Autodromo Nazionale Monza is 5.793 kilometres of pure, breathtaking speed, and with the exception of 1980, the Italian Grand Prix has been hosted there since Formula 1's inception in 1950.
With long straights and fast sweeping corners, drivers are on full throttle for 80 per cent of the lap.
However, tight chicanes also highlight the importance of good braking stability and traction - the circuit is very hard on gearboxes.

Italians call it 'La Pista Magica' - 'the magic track' - a description few would disagree with.
No circuit showcases the raw speed of Formula 1 cars quite like Monza.
TYRE COMPOUNDS
The 2018 Italian Grand Prix saw Pirelli's white-walled medium, yellow-walled soft and red-walled supersoft compounds used.
