The undisputed WWE champion, American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is set to defend his title against ‘The phenomenal’ AJ Styles at the WWE Backlash pay-per-view in France after winning it from ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns back at Wrestlemania XL.

Meanwhile, fans will also be able to catch hold of the Tag team match between two interesting opponents. After Kevin Owens attacked Solo Sikoa backstage, he was outnumbered by ‘The Bloodline’ in Smackdown last week, but surprisingly got an assist from  a very unlikely figure in Randy Orton.

Following the turn of events, the match was made official by the WWE for Backlash. Randy Orton will be teaming up with Kevin Owens to take on Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga from the bloodline.

On the other hand, WWE Women’s champion Bayley will be defending her championship against Naomi and Tiffany Stratton at Backlash. The champion finds herself in a tough position with both opponents being more than capable of taking her down.

In the tag-team section, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will be challenging the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Championships. The tag-team duo earned their title shot after defeating ‘Damage CTRL’ at ‘The Shows of Shows’ pay-per-view.
