Manu Bhaker credits 'The Bhagavad Gita’ for her success in Paris

Talking to JioCinema following the event, Manu explained how vital of a role ‘The Bhagavad Gita’ has played in her path to success.

The 22-year-old explained how the teachings of Gita helped calm her mind down during the event, and how the preachings of Krishna to Arjun about focusing on your work instead of results helped her bag the bronze in Paris.

I read a lot of Gita and all, so what was going through my mind is its teaching, 'just do what you are meant to do, just do what you are supposed to do and whatever the destiny, you can't control the outcome of it'. In the Gita, Krishna says to Arjun 'You know you focus on your karma and not on the outcome of the Karma', so only that was running through my mind. I was like, 'Okay, just do your thing and let it all be from here
