Why did KKR appoint Dwayne Bravo as mentor for IPL 2025?

Dwayne Bravo, who has enjoyed a prolific career both as a player and coach, will now focus on mentoring the KKR side as they look to defend their IPL title.

His decision to join KKR was finalized after he met with the franchise’s CEO, Venky Mysore, during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) tournament.

Apart from his new role with KKR, Bravo will also be involved in guiding the other Knight Riders franchises in T20 leagues around the world, including Trinbago Knight Riders, Los Angeles Knight Riders, and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.

Bravo’s appointment as KKR’s mentor is expected to bring significant value to the team. The former CSK stalwart is known for his tactical acumen, especially in the shorter format of the game, and is widely recognized as one of the best death bowlers in T20 cricket.
