Chasing a target of 232 runs, Babar's aggressive play brought the Stallions to 47-1 after eight overs. He went on to score 45 runs off 45 balls, including eight fours.

The Stallions collapsed later, losing eight wickets for just 26 runs. They were bowled out for 105 runs in 23.4 overs, losing to Mohammad Rizwan's Markhors by 126 runs.

Babar's impressive knock was one of the highlights of the match, but it wasn't enough to win the match for his team. His 45-run knock added to his tournament tally, making him the second-highest run-scorer in the competition with 121 runs from two matches.

The incident took place during the eighth over in the chase when Babar was on 5 runs from 10 balls as he faced Dahani. After starting the over with a dot ball, Babar unleashed five fours in a row against the pacer.

The first was a pull shot over midwicket. He then skillfully guided the second ball past slip for a boundary.

Babar continued the assault with another shot to third man, using Dahani’s pace to his advantage. The fourth boundary was a powerful square drive, and he finished the over with a pull shot to midwicket.

How did Shahnawaz Dahani react to Babar Azam's assault off his bowling?

In a funny turn of events, Dahani shared Babar's innings on social media and praised the batter's exploits like a fan.

This was particularly embarrassing as the boundaries had come off his own bowling and fans were quick to question the bowler in the comments, on whether he had any 'self-respect' left after praising the opposition batter, who had just taken him to the cleaners earlier that day.
