After a series loss at home against Bangladesh, starting on October 7, Pakistan will be hosting England for three Test matches where Pakistan will be looking to win their first home Test win since 2021 against South Africa.

England, who are currently playing the third Test against Sri Lanka at The Oval will end their home Test season and will head to Pakistan after their white-ball series against Australia in a month's time.

According to recent reports, the PCB was contemplating shifting one of the Tests of the series to the United Arab Emirates for renovation of the venues ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025. However, the PCB Chairperson, Mohsin Naqvi has ridiculed the claims of any plans to shift any game from Pakistan to UAE.

What did PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi say?

Speaking to reporters, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi said, "The home Test series against England will be held in Multan and Rawalpindi. We are in touch with the England board and they are satisfied."

According to the original schedule, the two teams were supposed to play the first Test from October 7 to 11 in Multan, the second from October 15 to 19 in Karachi and the third Test from October 24 to 28 in Rawalpindi. It remains to be seen whether Multan will host the second game or the rights will go to Rawalpindi.
