Several Indian Test players have been withdrawn from the ongoing Duleep Trophy to join a pre-series camp ahead of the Bangladesh Test series.

Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and other players are set to prepare for the two-match series, leaving their Duleep Trophy teams in need of replacements. The changes in squads have been swiftly addressed by the selectors, with fresh faces set to join the tournament.

Will Rinku Singh feature in the Duleep Trophy squads during second round?

With India’s Test squad members set to join for a training camp in Chennai on September 12 in preparation for the Bangladesh series, several India stars including Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, and Axar Patel have opted to withdraw from their respective Duleep Trophy teams.

These exits have led to the inclusion of players such as Rinku Singh, who will replace the outgoing international stars as he will represent India B in the competition.

Some of the other replacements include Suyash Prabhudesai, Himanshu Mantri, Shams Mulani, and Shaik Rasheed.

Rinku Singh's inclusion in the India B squad is a major highlight, as he will get a chance to impress the selectors after missing out the first round of matches in the ongoing Duleep Trophy.

After displaying his abilities in domestic cricket and in the Indian Premier League (IPL), the young Indian batter now looks set to make an impact in the red-ball format.

Sarfaraz Khan, who has been named in the India Test squad, will continue playing for India B in the second round of the Duleep Trophy.
