Chris Gayle, the cricket legend from the West Indies, was seen celebrating Kolkata Knight Riders’ victory in the 2024 Indian Premier League with some style.

Kolkata Knight Riders dominated the IPL 2024 season and won their third title by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday. Led by Shreyas Iyer, KKR secured an emphatic eight-wicket victory in Chennai.

Gayle, a former KKR player himself, extended his congratulations to the team after their win. He specifically mentioned his former teammates Sunil Narine and Andre Russell while dancing to the beats of Danza Kuduro, as captured in a lively clip shared on social media.

Although Gayle's contribution with KKR in 2009 and 2010 didn’t see remarkable results, he managed to contribute with both bat and ball, scoring a total of 463 runs and taking five wickets in 16 matches.

The southpaw later moved to Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011, where he had better individual performances but failed to secure an IPL title. He won the Orange Cap in 2011 and 2012.

Coming to the IPL 2024 final, KKR's dominance was evident as they put up a stellar performance, led by Mitchell Starc, Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Harshit Rana. Venkatesh Iyer's brilliant knock of 52 runs ensured an easy chase of the modest target of 114 runs, sealing KKR's triumph in style.
