The left-arm spinner ran through the New Zealand batting lineup on day 3 of the second and final Test of the series between Sri Lanka and New Zealand as the visitors gave away a lead of whopping 514 runs, making it a close to impossible task to bounce back into the game.

With his 9th five-fer, Jayasuriya surpassed Dilruwan Perera to become the Sri Lankan with 4th most five-wicket-hauls in Tests.
