Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka has joined an elite list of batsmen with his century that won his team the third Test against England at the Kennington Oval on Monday. The Asian side won only their fourth-ever Test match in England, beating England by eight wickets.

Despite losing the three-match Test series 2-1, the visitors have plenty of positives to take. One of the biggest positives, is opening batter Nissanka.  The 26-year-old followed his first-innings half-century (64) with a match-winning century in the second.

He scored a 124-ball 127 to help Sri Lanka chase the 219-run target. Nissanka has now joined the elite company in Sir Don Bradman, becoming the only seventh opposition batter to score a match-winning century in a Test run-chase in England.
