What happened in Pakistan vs Bangladesh 2nd Test?

Bangladesh’s innings appeared to be in dire straits early on, collapsing to a dismal 26 for six within just 11.3 overs. Pakistan's bowlers,

Khurram Shahzad and Mir Hamza, exploited the conditions effectively to dismantle Bangladesh’s top order. However, the game took a decisive turn with the partnership between Mehidy Hasan and Liton Das.

They combined for a crucial 165-run partnership for the seventh wicket. Mehidy’s all-round performance included a five-wicket haul and a vital 78 runs, which supported Liton's outstanding century.

Liton Das scored 138 runs off 228 balls, featuring 13 fours and four sixes, guiding Bangladesh to a respectable total of 262. Despite their horrible start, Bangladesh was bowled out just 12 runs short of Pakistan’s first innings total.

The significant recovery by Bangladesh has sparked concern among Pakistani fans, who are worried about the possibility of another defeat. 

With crucial runs still required to set a challenging target, and key players like Babar Azam under pressure, the fear of defeat looms large.
