Pakistan are set to face Bangladesh for a two-match Test series, as a part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25. The two Asian giants will face off to book a place in the WTC final in 2025.

Pakistan are placed fifth on the WTC points table, with 22 points in five matches. With 36.66 points, Shan Masood & Co. have a mountain to climb, should they qualify for the WTC final. Bangladesh on the other hand, are placed eighth on the points table, with just one win in four matches.

Shan Masood and Co. have released Abrar Ahmed and Kamran Ghulam from the Test squad against Bangladesh. The release of the spin-duo would see the hosts go in with an all-pace attack for the two-match series.
