BCCI Secretary Jay Shah recently informed state associations about this event through an email. The NCA aims at improving the quality of training and facilities for both current and future cricketers of Indian cricket.

Where is the new NCA located?

The new NCA is located in Bengaluru, India. This state-of-the-art facility is designed to be a hub for cricket development in the country. Bengaluru has been home to the old NCA as well, but the new facility will have much more to offer.

What did Jay Shah say on the new NCA?

The new NCA will have three world-class playing grounds and 45 practice pitches. It will also feature indoor cricket pitches, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and advanced training and recovery facilities. These modern amenities are aimed at providing the best possible environment for cricketers to hone their skills.

The official inauguration of the new NCA is scheduled for September 28, 2024. This is just a day before the BCCI’s Annual General Meeting, which will also take place in Bengaluru.
