Indian cricket team star Sarfaraz Khan's younger brother Musheer Khan scored a century on his Duleep Trophy debut on Thursday.

The former India U-19 World-Cupper remained unbeaten at the end of the first day, to save India B from humiliation. Khan scored 105* off 227 balls on his Duleep Trophy debut against India A, batting alongside tailender Navdeep Saini.

The year 2024 has been a memorable one for the Khan brothers. Sarfaraz received his maiden Test call-up for India, after years of hard work. Meanwhile, Musheer shot to fame for his exploits in the U-19 World Cup earlier this year.

Musheer rose to prominence as the year progressed, making a mark for Mumbai in the domestic circuit. And now, a century to show for in his Duleep Trophy 2024.

What is Musheer Khan's record in Indian domestic cricket?

Musheer Khan last represented Mumbai in the domestic circuit in the Ranji Trophy final (2023-24) season. He scored a fantastic 136-run knock to establish himself as a mainstay, leading to the Duleep Trophy call-up for the ongoing edition.

In a short span, Musheer has already scored two centuries and one half-century for his team. It seems only a short time before we see the teenager step up in the senior-men's dressing room. Having made over only six first-class appearances so far, Musheer Khan has a whole career ahead of him.
