The anticipation for the next India-Pakistan cricket clash is already building up after their recent intense face-off in New York. Scheduled for March 2025, this encounter will be the highlight of the Champions Trophy.

Where will the Champions Trophy match between India and Pakistan be held?

According to Cricbuzz, Lahore is set to host the upcoming India-Pakistan clash as per the draft schedule for the 2025 Champions Trophy. However, this plan is contingent on India's approval to play in Pakistan. Otherwise, a hybrid model, similar to the previous year's Asia Cup, with UAE as the venue for India's matches, might be adopted.

Champions Trophy 2025: When and where will it be played?

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has earmarked Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi as the tournament venues. Lahore has been specifically chosen for the India games. The schedule outlines seven matches in Lahore, five in Rawalpindi, and three in Karachi.

The tournament, slated between February 19 and March 9, will kick off in Karachi on a Wednesday. The semifinals will take place at Karachi and Rawalpindi, with Lahore hosting the grand final on a Sunday. Lahore has also been designated to host all India matches and the semifinal, if they qualify.

Will there be a hybrid model like the last Asia Cup?

While the focus is on a full-fledged tournament in Pakistan, discussions about a hybrid model, like last year's Asia Cup, have not been entirely ruled out. However, the attention now shifts to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Government of India for their decision.
