Indian umpire Anil Chaudhary recently revealed his first-hand experience of umpiring against Pakistan wicket-keeper, Muhammad Rizwan.

A mainstay in the Indian Premier League, Chaudhary has been the face of Indian umpiring, alongside Nitin Menon in international cricket. The 59-year-old recently appeared on 2 Sloggers - a cricket-based content creator on YouTube.

He spoke about Pakistan's experienced wicket-keeper, who has a habit of fighting for everything from behind the stumps.

What did Anil Chaudhary say about Pakistan wicket-keeper Muhammad Rizwan?

Chaudhary, besides other things, spoke about Pakistan wicket-keeper Muhammad Rizwan in a light-hearted manner. Rizwan is infamous for his theatrics behind the stumps, to lure umpires to make a decision in his team's favour.

As the game goes, a part of a wicket-keeper's job is also to appeal at the time of Leg-Before-Wicket (LBWs), or a knicked catch behind the stumps. However, Rizwan takes the job a bit too seriously.

The Indian official also mockingly compared the 32-year-old to a pigeon.

"I have done the Asia Cup. I am aware Rizwan appeals vigorously. So I even told my co-umpire (on-field umpire) that he would keep on insisting and appealing, do not fall into the trap. He's the one who puts on lipstick, right? Yes, he always keeps jumping (flying) like pigeons," Anil Chaudhary joked about Rizwan.

What next for Muhammad Rizwan?

Muhammad Rizwan, and Pakistan, are currently playing a two-match Test series at home against Bangladesh. Rizwan scored an unbeaten 171-run knock in the first innings of the inaugural Test in Rawalpindi. He hit 11 boundaries and three maximums to help Pakistan declare at 448/6.

The Pakistani talisman's next assignment would be the final Test of the series, also scheduled at Rawalpindi. The game will be held between August 30 and September 03.
