Samit Dravid, son of former Indian cricket legend Rahul Dravid, has been selected for the India U19 team for the upcoming series against Australia.

This series, set to take place in Puducherry and Chennai, will feature both white-ball and red-ball formats. Samit’s inclusion in the squad marks his maiden call-up to the national Under-19 side, following in the footsteps of his father.

Like his father, Samit has shown promise as a cricketer, particularly in the domestic cricket. Recently, videos of his powerful shots during the Maharaja KSCA Maharaja T20 Trophy went viral and gained attention.

The India U19 team will compete against the Australia U19 team in a series comprising three one-day matches and two four-day games. The one-day matches will be held in Puducherry, while the four-day games will take place in Chennai.
