Bangladesh are on the verge of making cricketing history, as they strive to achieve their first-ever Test series win against Pakistan.

The second Test, starting on Friday at Rawalpindi, presents a golden opportunity for the 'Bangla Tigers' to etch their name into the annals of cricket history.

How many Historic wins have Bangladesh achieved?

Bangladesh’s journey in Test cricket has been marked by several notable triumphs. Their first Test victory came against Zimbabwe in 2005. This win was followed by a series victory over the West Indies in 2009.

One of their most memorable achievements came in 2017 when they defeated Australia by 20 runs in Mirpur.

Among the original Test-playing nations, Bangladesh has secured at least one victory against seven teams: Australia, Pakistan, England, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, the West Indies, and Zimbabwe.

They have also defeated Afghanistan and Ireland, two teams that gained Test status after them. However, the only teams they have yet to conquer in Test cricket are India and South Africa.
