The Bangladesh team led by Najmul Hossain Shanto achieved a historic feat after defeating Pakistan for the first time and then twice, to whitewash the Test series 2-0 at Rawalpindi.

With the 2-0 series win, Bangladesh have now defeated nine teams in Test cricket history. They had made their Test debut in the year 2000 during a match against India.

After playing 144 test matches, Bangladesh have won 20 matches, losing 105 matches and 18 draws.

No, Bangladesh have never beaten India in test cricket history. Since making their Test debut in 2000, they have only managed two draws at best against the Indians.

In fact, India and South Africa are the only two teams that Bangladesh have failed to defeat in their Test history so far.
